Spare room is now resembling a Wehrmacht store room! Up to an 8.5 and still 3.5 days of work to go!

Boots dubbed, helmets for me and loan sorted, weapons checked, gas and ammo bag filled.
One slight issue, tunic I was going to wear is badged as Gebirgs, I thought it was infantry.
That needs to be sorted quickly, a visit to RAU with pound notes tomorrow will fix that.
Just got belt kit and bedding to fettle, batteries to charge Thursday.
Excitement is growing.

Took the dog for a walk whilst wearing all my Russian clobber (thank god for dark evenings). I'd forgotten how bloody uncomfortable my boots were, still I was warm as toast with the outside temperature around 1C. Packed up most of my gear, batteries charged and guns checked, so around an 8 now.

3. Decided to use the same awards etc on this tunic as I have with FJR2...then realised that I shouldn't have fitted the oostfront ribbon :)

Whoops hadn't thought of that :slap: Still sure no one will notice

Redone the front Bipod catch on the MG34, it was just bolted on and kept working loose.

Still waiting for last bits to arrive from SOF, there well late due to the show on weekend, fingers crossed

Up to an 8 now.

Anyone know how tunic collar liners fit on? mine seems way to big

Collar liners? You may well have to move the buttons on your tunic collar to position it properly. This doesn't really show it that well, but the liner should be level with the collar top.

Heh, recognise that tunic...?

Excellent point, Lardy. Any Soviet without one will of course be summarily executed before we start. :giggle:

I'd have them check for foot wraps and woolen underwear too.
